I have spent the last 20 years advocating improvements in child and family services and policies based on evidence. I had the idea of the Child and Family Blog with Professor Michael Lamb, as a means to projecting the best child development research into policy making and practice management.

My particular interest is fatherhood and the “community of care” that exists around each child and that influences the child’s development to such an extent.
