I study the influence of the family and the preschool learning environment on children’s socio-emotional and motivational development. I am particularly interested in the interrelations between parents’ and teachers’ own beliefs, their practices and children’s socio-emotional skills and motivation to learn in different domains (e.g. math or science).
What I want to achieve:
I want my research to advance our understanding on how we can create optimal learning environments to support children’s socio-emotional and motivational development.
