About the author:

I have examined the lay public’s intuitions about what is fair in various family law arenas, such as child support, alimony, property division, custody and parenting time.

What I want to achieve:

I believe fairness is an important consideration in deciding family law disputes, and think my data on what the public believes is fair should be taken as one important indicator of what the law should require.

My previous positions:

Charles J. Merriam Distinguished Professor of Law, Affiliate Professor Psychology, Arizona State University, USA.
