About the author:

My research interests lie primarily in the area of parenting practices and children’s STEM education. In this vein, I investigate the roles of the quantity and quality of parents’ involvement in children’ math engagement and math skills development from both a cognitive and a motivational perspective. I am also interested in identifying parent-child math interaction context that could best foster parents’ constructive involvement (i.e., math talk, autonomy support, affective components).

What I want to achieve:

I would like to support parents’ constructive involvement in children’s academic development via providing research-based evidence that could inform optimal practices.
