Kaitlin M. Trexberg
Doctoral Candidate in Human Development and Family Studies & Dual Title in Clinical Translation Science at The Pennsylvania State University, USAAbout the author:
I am passionate about understanding how macro- and micro-contexts connect to parent and child outcomes during the transition to parenthood. Specifically, I study socioeconomic risk and its influence on families with the goal to translate basic research into national policy change.
What I want to achieve:
I aim to change the world through family and child policy. The first step is to understand how we can help support parents and children during stressful times, which happens in the lab. We need to know what is happening first in order to make change.
My previous positions:
- Former Research-to-Policy Collaboration Fellow
- Former Pennsylvania State Grant Consortium Graduate Fellow (2021-2022)
