About the author:

My research focuses on risk and protective factors that predict how youth adjust after contact with the juvenile, family, or criminal legal system. I use this information to design interventions that are informed by science, easy to use, and effective in protecting and promoting mental health.

What I want to achieve:

I want families facing stressful events in their lives to have access to evidence-based programs that protect and promote their children’s health and wellness.

Awards & accomplishments:

I have published my research in scientific journals such as Clinical Psychological ScienceJournal of Family Psychology, and Child Development. My work is currently funded by a career development award from the National Institute of Mental Health.
