About the author:

I consider the role of neighborhoods and cities in generating and maintaining inequality across multiple dimensions. My current research focuses on how the decline of violent crime has affected urban life and urban inequality in America.

What I want to achieve:

I hope that the research will lead policymakers to think not just about what programs or interventions might be effective, but also about how to construct policies and interventions that have the capacity to reach multiple generations and to be sustained over time.
