About the author:

My major interest has long been in learning how social science research can be applied to improving social policies, especially policies that affect children. In addition, I often study and write about preschool programs, post-secondary education, work, marriage, child support enforcement, child abuse and neglect, and economic mobility.

What I want to achieve:

I want my work to contribute to improved social policies for child development, especially as they increase the chances for children from low-income families to move up the income distribution.
