Sabine SeehagenProfessor of Developmental Psychology, Ruhr University Bochum, Germany
About the author:
I study how key cognitive skills, particularly learning and memory, develop in interaction with internal states like sleep and stress, and in interaction with a child’s social context.
What I want to achieve:
Experiences made during the first years of life are an important foundation of long-term adjustment and well-being. Ultimately, my research seeks to identify factors that help or hinder the developing mind to thrive.
