What I want to achieve:
Throughout my research with Professor Ruckert, I had the opportunity to see how important connecting with nature can be for child development. I’ve been fortunate enough to have these experiences during my own childhood and the work I have done with data has reflected this importance. I want parents, young adults, anyone reading, to feel emboldened to find joy in the natural world around them no matter how small or big that experience may be. In addition, while it’s true that we benefit from that experience, so can our planet.
My previous positions:
Student (Psychology Major) at Lewis & Clark College
