About the author:

My research has focused on understanding processes that promote resilience for children in high stress situations and translating that knowledge into experimental programs that promote resilience. I have conducted randomized trials and long-term follow-ups of resilience promotion programs that involve promoting effective parenting for children of divorce and for parentally bereaved children.

What I want to achieve:

I want to see the widespread implementation of effective parenting programs in order to promote the healthy development of children.

Awards & accomplishments:

I developed, evaluated and conducted long-term follow-up evaluations for programs for children of divorce and for bereaved children. Dissemination focuses on parenting programs for divorced parents and bereaved parents and caregivers.
