Full Professor of Social Psychology at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, MilanAbout the author:
I am engaged in research and training focused on family relationships, particularly within adoptive families. My areas of expertise include adoption and family dynamics, ethnic identity, and psychological well-being among adolescents and young adults in adoptive families. I also study adoptive identity and openness within these families, as well as family enrichment, the transmission of values, and research methodologies involving family data.
What I want to achieve:
My research underscores the vital importance of scientifically grounded insights in shaping effective interventions and support functioning for adoptive families. My contributions significantly enhance the literature by providing operationally relevant findings that address the complexities of adoption, especially in international and clinical contexts, thereby fostering more informed and effective support systems for adoptive families.
