My research seeks to understand the determinants of parenting, with a particular focus on identifying the factors that place parents at risk for harsher parenting towards their children. I’m also interested in how parenting shapes children’s social and emotional development.
What I want to achieve:
I hope that my research helps to make parents more aware of how their own psychological and interpersonal functioning can influence their parenting behavior.
